Lunch Program Policies and Restrictions. (Please read)

All funds raised through the lunch program are used to help finance programs and activities that are not covered through the school’s budget.

For food safety reasons, requests to keep food overnight will not be accepted.

If a phoned in request is provided to the office prior to 9am on the same day of the absence and the request contains the full names of the children and teachers involved, then the following options will be considered:

  • Please keep the food until second recess.
  • Please transfer the food to a sibling.

Any leftover food is provided to the office to be distributed to children that have forgotten or are missing lunches.

Refunds for missed days are not provided.

To avoid wastage, multi-grade all-day field trips (eg. Skiing/Snowboarding at Pakenham, etc.) that fall on one of the scheduled lunch days will have that session rescheduled. Email notification of these changes will be sent out ahead of time.

Due to the large number of absences, the lunch program does not run on snow days and refunds are not provided for those missed days.

Please be aware that ordering from the hotlunches website indicates agreement to the policies and restrictions stated above.
