Junior Achievement Volunteers Needed

Junior Achievement (JA), delivered by the Ottawa Network for Education, inspires youth to start a business, make better financial decisions and chart a career path. JA engages community volunteers from local businesses and post-secondary institutions to provide hands-on learning opportunities for Grade 3-7 students.

Do you have a little extra time to make a big impact?
As a JA volunteer, you bring real-world experiences to students while facilitating fun, hands-on, experiential learning.

How does it all work?

  • You present a pre-set program in a classroom over a full school day with a partner.
  • Training and program materials are provided by JA
  • The classroom teacher is present throughout the day and supports volunteers
