Huntley Centennial Arts Festival – Friday May 6th

The Huntley Centennial Arts Festival is scheduled for Friday May 6th, 6pm-8pm, and will be taking place in the school gym and hallways.

This is an open Invitation. We will celebrate our students’ accomplishments in the arts with the wider community. Every child in the school will have a piece of visual art on display. Informal and varied performances by individuals and groups, including choir, drumming and performance art will be ongoing.

We are part of a vibrant community and welcome all visitors to pop in and enjoy.  Bring the family, enjoy some goodies and lots of creative, fun and joyful art and entertainment.

As in past years, there will be a canteen offering beverages for the participants and their supporters.  There will also be a Bake Sale table, with treats being sold for $1 and $2 to hungry performers and proud parents.  We are also in need of a few parents to volunteer to help take down the art exhibits after the show.   If you are interested in providing baked treats for the show, or helping with clean up after, please email Mandy at  mandyeustace@hotmail.com.  Baked goods must be peanut free, wrapped for individual sale, and dropped off at the school by Friday before the festival.

Thanks and we look forward to all the wonderful performances and exhibits!
